RAF Panavia Tornado Aluminium Fuselage Clock

£195.00
Sold Out

This clock is made from an engine ring found in the RB199 Panavia Tornado engine. The clock’s face has been made to replicate an old fuselage with riveted aluminium, giving it a cool, industrial-chic look.

This is a smaller ring from the RB199 engine which was made by Turbo-Union, a collaboration between Rolls Royce, MTU and FIAT. The RB199 was made uniquely for the Panavia Tornado, a twin-engine, variable-sweep wing multirole combat jet. The RAF operated the Tornado fleet from 1991 until 2019, where it mainly saw action in the Gulf War.

The clock face is made of solid wood, which has been covered in aluminium and hand-riveted into place. The clock mechanism has a silent Quartz movement.

This piece comes with an authenticity certificate.
